The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had uploaded results from 2,048 of the 2,445 polling units in the Ekiti State governorship election as of 6:41pm on Saturday.
As at 4;38 pm, INEC had uploaded 338 polling-unit results to its Results Viewing (IReV) portal in the ongoing Ekiti State governorship election. The figure represented 13.82 per cent of the expected 2,445 polling-unit results across the state.
A total of 14 candidates are vying for the state’s top office in the off-cycle election, one of whom is Governor Biodun Oyebanji of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who is seeking re-election ahead of the expiration of his first tenure in October.
