The release outlines a structured roadmap intended to guide party stakeholders at all levels through the pre-election process.

According to the timetable, the first major step in the electoral process will commence on Monday, May 4, 2026, with the issuance of an official notice of elections to all state chapters.

This marks the formal kickoff of internal party activities leading up to the primaries and eventual selection of candidates for various elective positions.

The schedule is expected to provide clarity and direction for party members, aspirants, and administrators, ensuring an organised and transparent nomination process as the political landscape gradually builds momentum toward the 2027 general elections.
