National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, has described the First Lady, Senator Oluremi as a compassionate leader whose service has touched lives across the country.
In a birthday message issued on behalf of the APC National Working Committee, party leaders and millions of members nationwide on the First Lady’s 66th birthday, Prof Yilwatda commended her contributions to education, healthcare, women and youth empowerment, as well as support for vulnerable Nigerians.
He described Senator Oluremi as a “true mother of the nation,” noting that her compassion and interventions had transcended political, ethnic, religious and geographical boundaries.
The APC chairman said the First Lady had demonstrated through the Renewed Hope Initiative and other interventions that leadership was about restoring dignity, rekindling hope and giving citizens confidence in a better future.
“As the nation navigates the demanding journey of economic transformation and national renewal, your steadfast support for Mr. President, His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has been invaluable. You have stood firmly beside him through the difficult decisions, sacrifices and enormous responsibilities that come with steering Nigeria towards greater prosperity.
“Your strength, wisdom, prayers and understanding have provided an important pillar of support as the President pursues the arduous task of building a stronger, more secure and prosperous Nigeria. Your partnership exemplifies the power of shared purpose in the service of a nation”, Yilwatda said.
