The Lagos State Government has announced a night traffic diversion for the installation of a truck barrier at the Ojuelegba Flyover Bridge by the Fire Station.

The diversion will take place from 10:00 PM on Saturday, October 5, to 5:00 AM on Sunday, October 6, 2024.

Motorists traveling from Eko Bridge, Costain, and Iponri inbound to Ojuelegba are advised to utilize the Service Lane from the National Stadium gate to link up with Barracks to reach their desired destinations.

Mr. Oluwaseun Osiyemi, the Commissioner for Transportation, urged motorists to exercise patience during this brief closure, emphasizing that the nighttime installation is part of the government’s traffic management strategy to prevent further accidents and protect lives.

Motorists are encouraged to plan their routes accordingly to minimize inconvenience during the installation period.
