…555 Iraqis killed in Operation Epic Fury
The Iranian Red Crescent Society claimed at least 555 Iranians have been killed after the US and Israel started carrying Operation Epic Fury.
The military confirmed three US F-15s involved in the attack in Iran were shot down by Kuwaiti air defenses in a case of friendly fire. All six crew members on the planes were able to eject safely and are in stable condition.
Meanwhile, Israel began striking Hezbollah targets in Lebanon Sunday night after the terror group launched rockets at the Jewish state in “revenge for the blood of the Supreme Leader of the Muslims, Ali Khameini,” both sides confirmed.
Department of War Secretary Pete Hegseth and Gen. Dan Caine, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, are slated to brief the media about the strike on Monday at 8 a.m.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio and CIA Director John Ratcliffe will address Congress’ “Gang of Eight” about the strikes on Monday, and the two will then appear before the full Congress alongside Hegseth and Caine on Tuesday. US and Israeli officials are saying that the military campaign in Iran could last weeks.
