A member of the House of Representatives representing Ifako-Ijaiye Federal Constituency, Hon Benjamin Adeyemi Olabinjo (BAO) has advocated that Nigerians should shift from all foreign apps to e-Social Mint (eSM), a hybrid app developed by a Nigerian, Arch Fisayo Olamigoke, who is from his constituency.
Making this appeal at the launch of eSM in Ikeja, Lagos, Olabinjo noted that the app is a remarkable product that every Nigerian, every African and the whole world will benefit from.

He pledged to introduce eSM to other members of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly, not only because it is our own in Nigeria, but also because of the unique features the app displays.

Earlier, the developer of the app and President/CEO of eSocialMint Inc., Arch Fisayo Olamigoke, had explained that the app is a combination of social media, hologram, calls chats, e-adverts etc., designed to save people’s time and cost in travelling for events and meetings.
“One unique feature of eSM is that unlike other apps which disrupt your online meetings after an hour, you can be on meetings for as long as you want”, Olamigoke said.
eSM, he said, enables people to share cultures across the globe. “It will also provide jobs for youths, especially at events. As a host, you can choose vendors, event planners, make up artistes etc. for your event. Even as a content creator, eSM creates a platform for you to charge a fee for viewing your content. People holding live events and recorded events can use this medium to make money from their events”, Olamigoke told his audience.

“This app also allows you to be in two, three or four events in a day without leaving the comfort of your home through the use of hologram. And you can spray your hosts currencies of any nation without getting harassed by hoodlums or security men. Here, nobody can spray fake currencies and the event host will know who is spraying and the amount”, he explained.
Another feature of eSM is that it can be used by big churches. The pastor using hologram can preach to his congregation from anywhere in the world and he would be seen ‘live’ in the church auditorium. eSM would also collect offerings and tithes for the church. And the use of eSM is totally free.
Nollywood actor and eSM ambassador, Mimi Orjiekwe, described eSM as an app which combines all social media apps. “This app will surely help long distance relationships”, she told the audience at the launch.

Hanging on these promises, Hon. Olabinjo asked Nigerians to shift from Whatsapp, Tik-Tok, Facebook and Twitter (X) to eSM and tell people all over the world about it.
He said Tik-Tok is owned by China, Facebook by the United States and X (Twitter) by a South African. “eSM is ours, put together by a Nigerian. Let us make it our national social media”, he pleaded.

Representative of the Lagos State government at the event and the state’s Director of Social Media at the Lagos State Ministry of Information, Dr. Jide Atosuyi, commended Olamigoke for the hybrid app which is available on web, IOS and android.
He pledged the support of the state government for the app, adding that the features being displayed by eSM makes it an app for both the young and old.
