The Nigeria Police Force has announced the appointment of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Dolapo Opeyemi Badmos as its Permanent Mission’s Representative to the United Nations headquarters in New York.
The Inspector General of Police, Dr. Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, approved the deployment of the former Police Public Relations Officer, describing the move as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen Nigeria’s international law enforcement engagement.
Before her new assignment, ACP Badmos served as the Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of Federal Operations at the Department of Force Intelligence, Abuja. Her career has spanned various operational and administrative roles, but she is widely recognized for her outstanding tenure as Police Public Relations Officer in Lagos and Zone 2 Command, where she earned admiration for her professionalism, charisma, and media-friendly approach.
