“On behalf of the Governing Council and members of the Chartered Institute of Professional Printers of Nigeria (CIPPON), I heartily felicitate with the Government and people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as we commemorate our nation’s 65th Independence Anniversary.

“This day is a reminder of our shared history, resilience, and the collective sacrifices that birthed our sovereignty. As professionals in the printing industry, we recognize the crucial role that knowledge, information dissemination, and creative expression have played in shaping Nigeria’s journey as a nation. Printing remains at the heart of education, governance, communication, and nation-building.

“While celebrating our independence, we are reminded of our responsibility to strengthen our industry through professionalism, innovation, and adherence to ethical practices. The Institute reaffirms its commitment to fostering unity among practitioners, advocating policies that promote the growth of local printing, and ensuring that the industry contributes meaningfully to Nigeria’s economic development.

“We urge all stakeholders to see this Independence Day not only as a time of celebration but also as an opportunity to reflect on how best we can reposition our sector for global competitiveness. The future of printing in Nigeria depends on our shared values of integrity, professionalism, and continuous innovation.

“As we raise our flags high in celebration, let us also renew our commitment to building a printing industry that will not only preserve our cultural heritage but also drive sustainable development for generations to come.

“Happy Independence Day, Nigeria!”
