Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Bimbo Ademoye, has won a copyright dispute over her new YouTube film, ‘Where Love Lives’.
The case, which involved a claim on a song used in the movie, has been resolved in her favour, allowing the film to continue its run without restrictions.
Bimbo’s legal challenge began when someone using a fake identity claimed ownership of a song in her film, which led to its demonisation.
She clarified that she had full rights to the music with the artist’s approval. The strike on the movie has now been lifted following the resolution.
Celebrating the victory on Instagram, Bimbo thanked her family, team, and fans for their support.

“I’m kicking my feet in the air like a little child. It’s giving play with her and you’d incur the watch of her cyber family. I love you guys so much,” she wrote.
