Amotekun arrests family for burglary, stealing

The commander of the Ondo State Security network agency, code named Amotekun corps, Ade Adeleye has paraded a family comprising the father, mother and children for burglary and stealing of electrical cables at an area in Akure, the state capital.

The man, Agbor John 42, a gatekeeper and his wife, Mary John were arrested with their children at the Federal Housing Estate, Shagari Village, Akure after burgling a house whose owner was not at home and looted the entire building.

The commander also disclosed that a suspected kidnapper was apprehended after taking two-million-naira ransom from a victim. The suspect, Usman Abubakar, however confessed to the crime.

Adeleye assured the citizens of the state that the corps will continue to protect lives and property and intensify fight against criminals in the state.
