Nigerian music stars, Adekunle Gold and Simi, have welcomed twins, the couple confirmed on Wednesday.
Adekunle Gold, whose real name is Adekunle Kosoko, announced the birth via his Snapchat story, expressing gratitude for the new addition to their family. “Asked God for another child and He blessed me double,” the singer wrote.
The announcement comes weeks after Simi shared a post in December 2025 that hinted at the pregnancy. The post featured a short clip from Adekunle Gold’s music video, My Love Is the Same, with the caption, “From my baby, for my babies.” In the video, Simi appeared with a visible baby bump, sparking speculation among fans that the couple was expecting another child.

Adekunle Gold and Simi, who were both formerly signed to X3M Music early in their careers, are regarded as one of Nigeria’s most prominent celebrity couples. Their relationship, built on years of friendship and musical collaboration, culminated in a private wedding ceremony in January 2019.
In May 2020, the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Adejare Kosoko, fondly called Deja.
