Afrobeats superstar Davido has stirred reactions on social media after sarcastically declaring he would be a vulcaniser in his next life, in response to critics trolling him over his wealthy background and access to private jets.
In a post shared on his X (formerly Twitter) handle, the singer reacted to a recent wave of backlash over his constant display of luxury travel, particularly the use of his father’s private jet.
“This free jet wey I dey fly all around the world dey really pain una. I’m sorry it’s my birth right. In my next life, I go come back as vulcaniser. Ma binu,” he tweeted.
The singer, whose real name is David Adeleke, didn’t hold back as he mocked detractors who, according to him, try to downplay his hard-earned success due to his billionaire roots.
