Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has alleged that he was tracked and nearly kidnapped during a recent visit to a First Bank branch.
The street-hop artiste made the claims in a viral video on social media, where he accused unidentified persons of attempting to abduct him shortly after he arrived at the bank.
Portable, who is known for his dramatic outbursts and unfiltered comments, insisted that his only offence was demanding an explanation regarding a locked bank account.

“All I did was complain. A customer is always right,” the singer said emotionally, claiming the account in question holds billions of naira. “That account is business account; I have over 400 billion naira,” he added, while denying any involvement in fraudulent activities.
His claims come at a time of heightened tension in Nigeria’s social media space, following a public feud between activist Verydarkman and another major financial institution, Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB).
One Instagram user, @bam_tv_, added: “Where the director of this movie called Nigeria? Time to shout CUT!”
Another, @layo_blackzbeauty, joked, “Who released this one from ward digbolugi,” while @stanloshis warned: “If Una touch Portable na then una go see my real colour for this country.”
